Off-site improvements along 30th St. and PCH frontage were completed in February 2024 with improvements on PCH underway.  Past, current, and upcoming construction activities include the following:

• June 28, 2024   - Estimated date to remove street closure on 30th St. and PCH
• May 2024 - Estimated date of issuance of Certificate of Occupancy
• April 2024 -Date of issuance of Temporary Certificate of Occupancy
•  Jan 30, 2023 to February 28, 2023 - Eastbound travel lane on 30th Street was shifted to relocate the traffic control/sound barrier at 2901 PCH. View Construction Notice
• July 2022 - Pouring of the structural concrete decks was completed.
• July 2022 - Demolition of the west alley and site work commenced.

Completion of offsite improvements along PCH and Longfellow at 3001 PCH is scheduled for June 2024.  Current and upcoming construction activities include the following:

• September 2024 - Estimated date of issuance of Certificate of Occupancy.

• June 28, 2024 - Estimated removal of street closure on 30th St. and PCH.
• October 2021 - Shoring work began.  The shoring work consisted of placing underground vertical steel and concrete columns in the existing soil within the project site.  
• July 2021 - Work on the foundation commenced.
• September 2022 - Excavation and scraping of secant pile walls was completed.

Construction of the subterranean pedestrian tunnel between 2901 PCH and 3001 PCH was completed in November 2023.

Public improvements on Longfellow Ave. will include new sidewalk, curb and gutter and new paving on the south half of the street along with a landscaped parkway. This work is scheduled to start May 2024 and be completed by June 2024.

• A portion of the Eastbound lane of Longfellow Ave. between Tennyson Pl. and PCH will have a temporary closure for through traffic with detours for vehicles traveling eastbound.
• Temporary sidewalk closure along the Southside of Longfellow Ave. with detours for pedestrians.
• The Westbound lane of Longfellow Ave. will remain open for vehicular traffic and pedestrians traveling westbound on Longfellow Ave. between Tennyson Pl. and PCH. Eastbound lane is open to local access only.

There will be no right turns from Boundary Place on to S. Sepulveda Blvd. near the Skechers Development Project beginning on Thursday, January 11, 2024.  This is a safety measure to limit traffic risks as cars pull out of the south side of the new 305 S. Sepulveda Blvd. project.

What to expect:

• The east bound lane of Boundary Place will have barriers installed in front of the commercial property that will not allow traffic to make a right hand turn from Boundary Place onto S. Sepulveda Blvd., along with signage indicating "no right turn"
• This only restricts east bound through traffic from accessing Sepulveda Blvd.
• Residents will still be able to travel east and west bound within Boundary Place and access all homes
