In Hermosa Beach, we're lucky enough to have great weather for biking and skating year-round. The Strand offers a beautiful beachside biking and walking path, and the City's network of bike routes make it safe and convenient to get around town for shopping, recreation, and commuting.

Secure Your Equipment

If you are planning to ride, scoot, or skate around town, make sure you have a plan to secure your equipment. Each school has space for students to securely store equipment during the day. It is important to bring and always lock your equipment when around town and at home.

You can also register your bike with the Hermosa Beach Police Department to help return bikes that may be recovered if they have been reported lost or stolen.
