Community Center Solar
The City’s solar photovoltaic system located on the Community Center roof is still going strong! Originally installed in 2017, the system already saved the City enough on energy bills to more than pay off its installation cost of $205,538. During this time, energy usage at the Community Center was cut by 51%, representing hundreds of thousands of kWh saved. The system’s useful life is estimated at 20 years, thereby promising the City cost and energy savings for years to come.
