The purpose of our Economic Development Strategy is to set immediate and long-term goals and priorities to grow Hermosa Beach's economy while enhancing quality of life in our community.

The Strategy specifies 30 strategic actions including beautification; code changes; and other pro-active steps to encourage success and help our business partners.

On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, the Hermosa Beach City Council adopted the Economic Development Strategy.

This Strategy was developed over a two-year period with input from the Economic Development Committee and a Stakeholders Advisory Working Group comprising of business leaders.

We will post implementation progress reports as they become available.
