Our Logo

At the core of every brand identity is a brand mark or logo, which represents the brand in its simplest form. Our logo is the primary graphic identifier for official City events and programs, and is the preferred logo for general use. The logo is intended for use in print, web, video, and all other mediums for both internal and external audiences. It is not intended to replace the official or unofficial seals of the City.

The use of our logo without prior written consent of the City is prohibited.

Partner Organizations and Local Businesses

The Hermosa Beach City logo may not be used by third parties without the prior written approval of the City Clerk or its designee. To obtain permission, you must agree to abide by the terms and conditions of use. Contact the City Manager's Office for more information.

Logo Licensing

In the future, the City intends to work with local businesses to license the use of the logo to manufacture City-branded items. At this time, we are not accepting any applications.

Further, the City has not issued any licenses for the manufacture of any items bearing the current or classic City logo. It is unlawful for anyone without expressed written permission of the City Clerk or their designee to use the City logo. They are subject to penalties specified in HBMC 1.08.080.
