California’s 33rd District covers much of western Los Angeles County including many coastal neighborhoods along the Pacific Coast, the Conejo Valley, the Santa Monica Mountains, parts of West Los Angeles and the South Bay and the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The district is home to the cities of Hermosa Beach, Malibu, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Rancho Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, part of the city of Torrance, the unincorporated community of Topanga and the neighborhoods of Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Bel Air, Harbor City, Westwood, Fairfax, Mid-Wilshire, Hancock Park, and parts of San Pedro, Playa del Rey and Playa Vista in the City of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County's 2nd District encompasses the Cities of Hermosa Beach, Carson, Compton, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, Los Angeles (portion) including Crenshaw Baldwin Hills, Expo Park, Fairfax/Park La Brea, Hancock Park, Harbor Gateway, Koreatown, Larchmont, Miracle Mile, Sawtelle, South Vermont, Watts, West Adams, and Westchester, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach; and unincorporated areas of Athens, Baldwin Hills, Del Aire, Del Rey, East Rancho Dominguez, East Gardena, El Camino Village, Rando Dominguez, Walnut Park, West Rancho Dominguez, Florence Firestone, Ladera Heights, Lennox, Marina Del Rey, View Park Windsor Hills, West Carson, Willowbrook, and Wiseburn.
