Greenbelt Pedestrian Trail 

Project Highlights:

• Increase accessibility of the Greenbelt to all users
• Project limits include the Greenbelt and adjacent curb ramps and sidewalks from Pier Ave. to 8th St.
• Estimated construction timeline: October 2024 to January 2025
• Replacement of non-accessible woodchip path with accessible decomposed granite trail
• Upgrades to several curb ramps and portions of sidewalk
• Installation of 2 new fitness equipment areas at the north and south ends of the Greenbelt
• New landscaping with trees and plantings
• Safety improvements at crosswalk to Clark Building
• Irrigation and drainage upgrades

Annual Striping Improvements

CIP 194 Project Information

In 2021, the City created a CIP for Annual Striping Improvements to address areas around the city where improvements and modifications in signage and markings are needed to improve safety and visibility. This project helps to address the installation of thermoplastic striping, which the City is not capable of directly installing.
