All appointments are made as vacancies occur by the City Council for four-year terms except the Building Board of Appeals (no specified term limits). Board members and Commissioners provide valuable volunteer service to the City by providing the City Council and staff with expertise, advice and approvals on various matters including building code interpretation; City personnel; parks & recreation programming including special events; planning, land use and development projects, and public works capital improvement program projects.
