The Memorial Day Fiesta Hermosa from Saturday, May 27, 2023 - Monday, May 29, 2023 includes 250 vendors along Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue, a carnival, live music and more.

Getting to Fiesta/Public Transportation

Please note, parking will be limited this event weekend in the City of Hermosa Beach. Fiesta Hermosa encourages everyone to walk, bike, use public transportation or park-and-ride from the Northrup Grumman lot on Aviation Blvd. at 33rd St. in North Redondo Beach to the festivities.

Parking Restrictions 

The following parking lots will not be available for parking on the times and dates listed below.

  • Lot B: Thursday, May 25  6:00am — Tuesday, May 30 4:00pm
  • Lot A: Friday, May 26 6:00am — Tuesday, May 30 10:00am

Street Closures

  • Hermosa Ave: Saturday, May 27 3am — Monday, May 29 11:00pmpm (street closure: 10th - 14th Streets, reduced parking: 8th - 10th Streets)
  • Upper Pier Ave westbound lane: Friday, May 26 12:01am — Tuesday, May 30 8:00am (west of Bard Street to East of Monterey)
  • Pier Ave: Saturday, May 27 3:00am — Monday, May 29 11:00pm (Hermosa Ave to Bard Street)

Note: The carnival is being relocated from the Community Center parking lot to upper Pier Avenue. The carnival will be located ON the street (westbound lane) of Pier Avenue between Bard Street and Monterey Blvd. The eastbound lane will closed for vehicular traffic to ensure a full closure of streets west of Bard Street for the full three day weekend.

Lane closures affecting Upper Pier specifically:
• Westbound lane of Pier Avenue between Bard and Monterey - Closed 12:01am Friday May 26 - 8am Tuesday May 30.
• Eastbound lane of Pier Avenue between Bard and Monterey - Closed 3am Saturday May 27 - 10pm Monday May 29.

Bard Street will NOT be blocked so that you may turn North on Bard and access Oak Street. All visitor traffic will be encouraged to turn on Valley or Ardmore.
