Excursion Bus Trips

Excursion: The Getty Villa and Proud Bird

A Charter Bus Company is used to transport participants to excursion sites from the Hermosa Beach Community Center.

Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.  Participants with physical limitations must sign up with a  friend or family member. No refunds on Excursions.

Travel with us to the Proud Bird for lunch on your own at the newly opened food bazaar. The Proud Bird Food Bazaar is a unique food hall with 6 culinary kitchens open for lunch and dinner. The Food Bazaar is a contactless ordering experience where guests can visit the culinary kitchens at their leisure. The menu is inspired by the melting pot of Los Angeles and features Asian, Italian, Bludso’s BBQ, Burgers and American cuisines.

We will then travel to the J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Villa in Malibu serves as an international educational center dedicated to the study of the arts and cultures of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria. The Getty Villa houses the J. Paul Getty Museum's collection of approximately 44,000 Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities. Over 1,200 works are on view in 23 galleries devoted to the permanent collection, with five additional galleries for changing exhibitions. With objects dating from 6,500 B.C. to A.D. 400, the collection contains monumental sculptures as well as artifacts of everyday life such as vases, coins, sculpture, and jewelry. Some of the objects, including a mummy, have never been on view.
