The City of Hermosa Beach and Athens Services are co-hosting a FREE paper shredding and compost giveaway event, Saturday, September 24^th at the Community Center at 710 Pier Avenue. From 8am to noon, residents can drive in through the Pier Avenue entrance to have their important documents shredded on site and pick up a bag or two of free compost. Residents must bring their own containers for the compost and paper shredding is limited to three boxes per vehicle. Additional information can be found on the flyer.
