The Public Works Commission meets regularly on the 3rd Wednesday of odd-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September and November) in Council Chambers at City Hall (1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA  90254) at 6 p.m., or as scheduled by the Commission.

A special meeting of the Hermosa Beach Public Works Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, 2022 a 6:00 PM.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

This virtual meeting will be held pursuant to Assembly Bill 361.  Any or all Commissioners may attend and participate by teleconference/virtual meeting.  Members of the public may also participate by teleconference/virtual meeting.  If you would like to provide comments, you may do so by sending an email to anguyen@hermosabeach.gov until 5:00 P.M. on the meeting date.  Please see instructions on the posted agenda for information on how to join the virtual meeting.

About the Commission

The Public Works Commission reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on all capital improvement projects, assists in the development and updating of design guidelines for public improvements, and addresses other matters referred to the Commission by the City Council. Five members are appointed by the City Council to staggered four-year terms. Members must be qualified electors of the City.  The Commission is staffed by the Public Works Department.  For more, please see Hermosa Beach Municipal Code chapter 2.80
