The City of Hermosa Beach honors our Veterans; past and present, each year with a Commemoration and Candlelight Ceremony at the Hermosa Beach  Community Center's Veterans Memorial on the east lawn on Veterans Day. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the event and begins with a musical tribute prelude by the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast Brass Quintet. This year's key note speaker is Richard G. “Nick” Nickelson, US Navy Seal UDT & Space Capsule Recovery Team Member.
